1965 Caravan of Stars - Summer Tour

The Summer Caravan was once again headlined by a British act, this time the duo Peter and Gordon.  Their American success was so pronounced that they also signed to headline a Fall tour which I'll document in my next post.  This unit provided some interesting mixes of talent but the concept was beginning to run out of steam.

  1. Hello, first of all, thank you for posting these old tour line-ups! I remember going to a concert in Las Vegas, NV and seeing this line-up (Peter and Gordon, Jackie DeSannon, and the others) but I don't see a Las Vegas date on the tour. It would have been 1964 or 1965, but most likely 1965. Any information on that stop of the tour?
